This Position reports to:

Sales Team Lead

In this role, you will be planning, presenting and helping to manage new and current ABB Analytics opportunities for our Process Analytics (PA) business in the US. The ideal candidate will be technically sound, experienced in FTIR / NIR, with working knowledge of CGA, CEMS, GC, and/or TDL technologies, well-spoken and driven to succeed in meeting and exceeding our customer's needs.

The work model for the role is remote. #LI-Remote. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics (PAMA) division nationwide in the US.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Identify potential projects and present fit-for-purpose ABB Analytical Solutions to customers. Support Channel Partners and work with sales teams to drive business.

  • Grow ABB's Process Analytics business in line with the go-to-market strategy. Be the front line for offering and executing ABB solutions.

  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to meet changing landscapes. Provide market information for decision making.

  • Communicate the value proposition for Analytics internally and externally. Support local Sales, and implement communication, promotion, and training activities.

Qualifications for the role:

  • * Associates Degree in technology with combined 5+ years' experience in instrumentation as either a customer, selling, technician or project manager

  • * Experienced in FTIR / NIR with solid understanding of CGA, CEMS, GC, and/or TDL technologies Solid

  • understanding of Analytics including but not limited to GC's, FTIR, Tunable Diode Lasers, CGA and CWA. Working knowledge of instrumentation is also an asset

  • * Ability to design solutions particular to the customer's needs while driving ABB products into the solution

  • * Ability to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners and our end users (from field personnel to corner office)
