About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as a Cloud Network Engineer based in Shelton, CT. The Cloud Network Engineer plays a critical role in shaping the future enterprise network fabric. You will be responsible for engineering and designing solutions, planning and implementing next-generation network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and the corporate LAN.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Collaborate with leaders across the enterprise to coordinate network solutions addressing technology, regulatory, security, and competitive conditions.
  • Oversee areas of concentration, including network fabric for Private Cloud platforms, cloud infrastructure and connectivity, VPN solutions, end-user device connectivity, hybrid cloud strategy, remote site and campus network technology, and security measures.
  • Engage in technology roadmap development, documentation of network infrastructure and business processes, capacity and performance planning, disaster recovery/business continuity, and continuous knowledge and skills improvement.
  • Develop and evaluate network performance criteria and measurement methods.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or related/equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in enterprise network engineering, with a focus on cloud networking and infrastructure deployments in both AWS and Azure environments. Proven hands-on experience with Terraform to automate network deployments, particularly VPCs, subnets, route tables, and network security groups. Experience should include managing Palo Alto firewalls, VPN solutions, and Juniper Mist switching infrastructure. Candidates must also demonstrate experience working with remote site connectivity, multi-organizational project management, and vendor coordination.
  • Production experience with Terraform. Specifically deploying network modules to AWS or Azure (both preferred).
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialist or equivalent experience.
  • Azure AZ-700 certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Cloud architecture, network design, and infrastructure implementations (AWS and Azure).
  • Experience with Palo Alto equipment routing and security policy.
  • Strong understanding and support of network deployments across remote sites.
  • Ability to manage complex multi-organizational projects.
  • Vendor management skills (hardware/software security vendors as well as third-party vendors).
  • Experience with Juniper mist switching and wireless AP's.
  • Experience with VPN technologies.
