Position Overview

We are looking for a data engineer to join our team at DIA.



Responsibilities

Designs, implements, and operates data management systems for intelligence needs. Designs and optimizes data systems.



Required Qualifications

    3+ years of experience utilizing programming languages for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data analysis, or data modeling
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores and big data models
  • 3+ years of experience developing in Python
  • Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam, #qinetiqclearedjob
  • Bachelor's degree


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing code in an operational environment or for operational usage
  • Experience in application development utilizing PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Rust or Java
  • Experience with DevSecOps tools, including GitHub
  • Experience with a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience working on real-time data
  • Experience with Agile engineering practices
  • An active CI polygraph
