Job Title: Electronics Technician Location with zip code: Cedar Rapids, IA, 52498 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. to $26.00/hr. on W2 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM (M-F) Duration: 13 + months Job Description: Role is currently contract only, but could be temp to perm depending on candidate fit and continued work demand. Supports testing , troubleshooting, and repairing PCB (printed circuit boards), assemblies or subassemblies. Usually, will troubleshoot to board or component level and repair. Good soldering and de-soldering skills of both through-hole and surface-mounted components may be required. Role & Responsibilities: In-Circuit Test (ICT) factory support May include generating new ICT programs, updating existing ICT programs, debugging, analysis, electronics troubleshooting, machine troubleshooting, vendor communications, 5S duties, and other related needs APT-1600 ICT program conversions utilizing Valor Process Prep software Support bringing (3) newly purchased APT-1600 Takaya test systems online in the factory and converting ICT programs off prior APT-9411/APT-1400 platforms Key Skillset: Must have experience with Takaya ICT programming and test equipment Must have experience with Valor Process Prep software or Test Expert software Prior experience with test equipment and test solutions Prior experience in a manufacturing or lab environment Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Solid communication skills Ability to take initiative Ability to excel in a team environment and interact with various teams Willingness to continually learn Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident/GCH Education: A/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 5 years relevant experience.
