Description
The Deputy Program Manager reports to the Program Manager (JLCCTC) and focuses on supporting program oversight to include planning and implementation of IDIQ and Task Order activities. The Program Manager will assist in developing multi-disciplinary teams delivering on high-quality service, long-term relationship development, and ensuring product integrity. DPM is the alternate customer interface for program technical requirements. Additionally, this position will be assigned other projects or tasks in alignment with the level and scope of the position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support program activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Implement contract execution and customer communication
- Works with Program Manager to ensure contract activities meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Supports project cost accounting and deploys resources to ensure project milestones accomplished.
- Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify information technology project resource requirements.
- Works cross-functionally and develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Ensure team goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of program status.
- Alternate lead and participate in meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in an engineering or scientific discipline
- Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience managing IT projects/programs.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience preferably with JLCCTC, WarSim, HLA, DIS, and constructive M&S experience.
- Experience with military sims.
- Understanding of FOMs.
- Have significant java and/or C++ experience.
- Ability to work at strategic, operational and activity levels to ensure progression of the company's growth strategy
- Highly proficient written and oral communication skills
- Possess the ability to gain a DOD TOP SECRET security clearance
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES AND OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS:
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Experience
JLCCTC, WarSim, HLA, DIS, constructive M&S experience highly preferred. (preferred)
8 years: Minimum experience managing large scale IT projects/programs (required)
