FVP & SBA Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructs loan portfolio in accordance with bank's overall goals and objectives.
• Maintains a high level of collaboration with senior management to provide effective strategies and solutions.
• Reviews and structures new loans and discusses about loan products and requirements with customers as well as loan officers.
• Provides training and development opportunities for career advancement of department staff.
• Completes site visitations to new borrowers and existing borrowers.
• Review files for policy, regulatory, and documentation compliance, including equal credit, fair credit reporting, BSA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Administer commercial loan department personnel.
• Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum seven years of experience in SBA lending required.
• Ability to retain broad knowledge of lending tasks.
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Organizational ability with strong supervisory and management skills.
