Job Summary The Manager of Network Engineering plays a critical leadership role in supporting the healthcare organization's mission by ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of its network infrastructure. This position oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network systems-including switches, routers, circuits, and servers-essential to clinical and administrative operations. The Manager leads strategic technology initiatives that enhance system availability and align with organizational goals, while also developing technical recommendations to support evolving healthcare needs. A key responsibility includes maintaining a resilient production environment and leading efforts to strengthen business continuity, including participation in semi-annual disaster recovery tests. Additionally, the Manager enforces rigorous standards for data center and network closet installations, ensuring proper cabling, equipment setup, and power management to support a secure and efficient healthcare IT environment. Job-Specific Requirements: *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is required. *10+ years' experience in a network administration role and in supporting network related infrastructure and software. *Must be able to create written documents that effectively present recommendations, an analysis of problems or communicate the status of the system. *Must have knowledge of and the ability to apply Project Management Methodologies. *Must have demonstrated the ability to resolve conflict, work in a team setting, effectively problem solve, make appropriate decisions, communicate orally and in written form effectively and accomplish results. *Demonstrated ability to direct project teams in the planning and installation of technology projects required. *Must have a comprehensive understanding of network protocols and associated applications and troubleshooting skills. *Must have a thorough understanding of current networking technologies, security administration, and backup & disaster recovery technologies and solutions. *Must be proficient in use of LAN technologies and current corporate standard desktop productivity applications as well as project management and visual documentation tools. *Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills. *Skills* Network infrastructure, Network engineering, Cisco, router, switch, manager, lead, manage, Firewall, Ccna, wireless, telephony *Additional Skills & Qualifications* This person must have top notch communication, provide consistent and detailed status reports, and be highly organized. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
