Job Description

NSS is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs to all production equipment and facilities.
  • Works from manual, prints, and schematics to rebuild, repair and install equipment.
  • Runs necessary air, water and electric to equipment.
  • Diagnoses problems for rebuilding and installations while ordering necessary plans.
  • Performs welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Monitor inventory of critical spares and tool crip inventory
  • Process orders for parts and tooling

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a maintenance position in a cold heading manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of database software and maintenance software.
