Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Operate and maintain MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment, including setup, and operation of equipment, including minor troubleshooting
• Perform SMT production tasks, including component placement, soldering, and inspection
• Ensure high-quality production by following established procedures and guidelines
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex Surface Mount manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly.
• Performs semi-routine SMT, Inspection, and AOI equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment, and utilizes other Surface Mount Technology equipment such as X-RAY, Stencil Printing

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00/ hr

Hours: 4/10-2nd Shift

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an SMT Operator, with a focus on MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SMT production processes, including component placement, soldering, and inspection
• Minimum 2 years of machine operator experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with machine shop equipment
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Blueprint Reading
• Minimum 2 years of experience with IPC-A-61 and IPC-J-STD
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Tools/Technology

Preferred Skills:

• Associate Degree
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
• Must be able to read and write English
• Basic Computer Skills
