Job Summary
The Senior Product Solutions Manager develops relationships and works closely with the assigned business leadership and peers to plan and execute systems offerings including gathering requirements, monitoring key organizational and operational measures, and providing performance visibility to business units and customers.

Primary Objectives
  • Drive analysis of business needs, elicit requirements, and design IT business solutions that enable the business unit to achieve its objectives.
  • Execute complex and critical analytical and business design activities and lead business unit automation projects.
  • Develop and present recommendations for advanced product solutions to improve business efficiency, productivity, and enhancement of the customer experience.
  • Ensure projects and initiatives are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Provide leadership, training, support, and subject matter expertise to team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consult with business units to identify, define, analyze, and document business objectives and system needs, challenges, and requirements.
  • Elicit, evaluate, and document solution requirements and scope of work.
  • Design innovative technology solutions and effective project plans to enable the business unit to achieve its objectives.
  • Execute complex and critical analytical and business design activities. Act as a business analyst leader in support of automation projects.
  • Assist leadership with the evaluation, planning, and implementation of solutions that enable departments to partner with external clients and vendors.
  • Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to account for changing business needs.
  • Align projects and initiatives with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Collaborate with IT management to develop operational objectives and goals in alignment with overall IT strategy.
  • Coach and manage work performed by Product Solutions team members as assigned; may directly supervise assigned staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Logistics or a related field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in a directly-related field required
Work Experience
  • 10+ years' experience with full cycle business systems product management, including mapping business processes and implementation of major projects required
  • Experience with Agile SDLC methodology required
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Fundamental understanding of database-driven applications and open tools/languages.
  • Ability to create complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow.
  • Ability to gather requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with business owners.
  • Ability to perform fit/gap analysis based on requirements.
  • Ability to create detailed and thorough test plans for major initiatives.
  • Proven ability to design solutions encompassing dimensional models.
  • Strong proficiency in reporting and analytics tools such as Business Objects, PowerBI or Tableau
  • Understanding of the company's overall strategy and the ability to align projects to identified goals.
  • Analytical skills used to evaluate, understand, and interpret data from internal and client perspectives.
  • Ability to conceptualized and design new reports.
  • Demonstrated superior ability to recognize and define problems, understand business and system processes, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to formulate and communicate questions to gather the necessary missing information to resolve a problem.
  • General knowledge of databases and proficiency in SQL Queries.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products at the following levels ? Visio, Excel with PowerPivot, Word, Outlook: Intermediate level of skill

Working Environment
This role requires work that may involve the following environmental conditions:

Travel
30% Must be able to travel independently to U.S. locations including Hawaii.

The salary range listed is based on the geographic zone associated with this role: San Rafael, CA. Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.

Zone 1: $160,000 - $180,000

This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 10% of eligible compensation
