    MARKETING BUSINESS ANALYST

    DIRECT HIRE

    ONSITE, 5 DAYS A WEEK, MANDATORY

    NEWLY CREATED ROLE

    Our client is in the home improvement space and they are looking to level up their marketing efforts by adding a Marketing Business Analyst to their team. This is a great opportunity to leverage data to make more informed campaign decisions. As the Marketing Business Analyst you will be working cross functionally with Marketing, IT, Sales, and Operations which is why this role is onsite 5-days a week.

    The Marketing Business Analyst will be the go-to resource for uncovering insights from marketing and lead generation data to drive performance improvements. This role is both analytical and collaborative, bridging the marketing, data, and operations teams to optimize ROI and overall campaign performance through thoughtful data storytelling and insight generation.



    Key Responsibilities:



    Data Analysis & Insights





    • Analyze multi-source marketing/lead data (CRM, web analytics, ad platforms).



    • Track and interpret marketing KPIs: CPL, CPA, conversion, ROI, ROAS.



    • Perform exploratory analysis to find new trends or anomalies.





    Data Visualization & Reporting





    • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.



    • Deliver weekly/monthly/ad hoc reports with optimization recommendations.





    Cross-functional Collaboration





    • Collaborate with:





      • Lead gen teams to improve lead quality & conversions.



      • BI Data Architect to ensure clean, unified marketing data.



      • Marketing team to align data with campaign objectives.






    Performance Optimization





    • Run and evaluate A/B tests.



    • Identify ways to improve performance across marketing channels (search, social, email, website, vendors).



    • Make data-backed recommendations to enhance ROI.





    Required Skills/Experience:



    Education & Experience





    • Bachelor's in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or related.



    • 2-4+ years in marketing/business analytics or similar.



    • Strong grasp of marketing funnel and digital KPIs.





    Technical Tools





    • Power BI (core visualization tool).



    • Excel, SQL (data manipulation/querying).



    • Experience with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot) and ad/analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads).





    Interpersonal Skills





    • Inquisitive and insight-driven.



    • Excellent communication: able to translate data into stakeholder-ready insights.



    • Problem-solving and critical thinking orientation.





    Bonus/Preferred Skills:





    • A/B testing frameworks and tools.



    • Familiarity with industries involving lead gen (e.g., home improvement).



    • Exposure to Tableau, Looker.



    • Comfort with statistical tools like Python, R, SPSS.
