This is a 3-month, full-time (32-40 hours/week), remote contract role. Must be US based.
Summary
This role supports content development across multiple marketing channels, producing branded, SEO-informed content for blogs, articles, campaigns, landing pages, social media, and product descriptions. You'll collaborate closely with designers and marketers to create impactful, audience-focused messaging that drives engagement and traffic.
Our Ideal Candidate
Minimum 7 years of experience in content writing or copywriting
Passion for storytelling and audience engagement through digital content
Proficient in content management systems and collaborative marketing tools
Familiar with keyword research and SEO best practices
Skilled in partnering with cross-functional teams, including design and digital marketing
Able to work independently and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and adaptable to shifting content priorities and publishing schedules
Strong writing, editing, and research skills with exceptional attention to detail
Previous experience in B2B SaaS and/or retail/B2C content development
A portfolio that includes published work across digital marketing formats
Job Description
In this role, you will create and manage content that educates, informs, and converts target audiences.
You'll partner with internal teams to bring the brand voice to life while applying data insights and SEO strategy to maximize reach and performance. This includes:
Writing engaging and informative content for blogs, campaigns, landing pages, product descriptions, and social media
Conducting keyword research and applying SEO principles to optimize digital content
Collaborating with designers and other marketers to produce cohesive, high-impact deliverables
Crafting attention-grabbing headlines and body copy tailored to each audience and format
Researching industry trends and competitive content to generate ideas and ensure relevance
Adapting tone and style across content types and channels to align with brand guidelines
You will also help the team scale its content output as a reliable and self-sufficient writing resource, contributing to campaign performance and brand storytelling.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field
Proven experience writing for digital channels, including SEO and UX writing
Familiarity with B2B SaaS and/or retail marketing landscapes
Portfolio of published content showcasing versatility across formats and topics
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $50 - $70 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
