The Opportunity: The Adobe Enterprise Marketing team is looking for a Director, Sports Marketing & Innovation, reporting directly to the Sr. Director Executive and Enterprise Field Marketing. You will lead a team focused on developing strategic technology & marketing campaigns with premier sports organizations (i.e. NFL, MLB, etc.), responsible for driving program management around custom technology solutions, and supporting the development of integrated marketing campaigns around these partnerships. Solutions will be focused on how Adobe technology is powering innovative use cases and helping sports organizations use AI to pioneer the next generation of digital fan experiences. You will have experience with integrated sports marketing campaigns (web, social, experiential events, digital, brand etc.) connecting these league cultural moments to the broader enterprise campaign initiatives and goals. Experience working creatively with strategic partners like AWS & Microsoft to amplify campaign reach. Must have a strong background in large-scale and complex implementation of Adobe technology, experience working with sports organizations, creativity and technical prowess to emphasize the power of AI in customer experiences, and a deep passion for sports.
What you will do:
Drive Sports Technology Innovation
- Partner with Sports Leagues and Adobe Consulting Services on orchestrating innovative use cases that align business goals with AI-powered fan experiences-translating strategy into platform execution, journey activation, best-in-class experiences and measurable outcomes using Adobe Digital Marketing & Digital Media Enterprise technology.
- Showcase Art of the Possible: Turn innovative use cases into compelling storytelling moments-both for fans and enterprise audiences- showcasing these moments across adobe.com and at tentpole events like the Super Bowl, All-Star Game & Adobe Summit.
- Partner with Adobe Content Labs team to develop unique branded experiential activations focused on the customer value from Adobe technologies that bring to life the exciting Adobe innovation at tentpole sporting & Adobe led events.
- Collaborate with Adobe Content Labs on developing a focused customer storyboards that will be used in events, MLB/NFL days and joint meetings to showcase the mutual success of this partnership.
- Provide regular executive updates, lead joint planning sessions, and inuence roadmap development tied to partnership success.
Lead a team focused on Integrated Campaign Management & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive fan engagement, and maximize Adobe impact across all sports-related platforms and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Global Sports Marketing team on end-to-end planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns-spanning content, digital, social, media, advertising and tentpole events.
- Lead Adobe Enterprise campaign planning cycles, from annual partnership calendars to real-time activations around major tentpole sporting events (Super Bowl, World Series, etc.).
- Partner with Executive Marketing team to leverage Sports Partnerships to create "bucket list" experiences for C Suite Executives
- Collaborate with Global Tech Partners like AWS, Microsoft etc. to scale impact and reach of sportscampaigns.
- Align regional and global stakeholders to ensure message consistency and cultural relevance in every market.
- Present campaign strategy, plans, results & ROI quarterly to senior Marketing, Sales & BU executives.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related eld required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise marketing
- Track record with integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience working with large sports organizations
- Experience Implementing Adobe Technology, preferably with major sports leagues or large media/retail enterprise organizations. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager (AAM), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Campaign, Adobe Commerce, Adobe Marketo, Adobe Target.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams, with the ability to lead and inuence without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge strategy and execution across product, creative, and data teams
- Track record of thought leadership in digital experience, personalization, and/or sports marketing innovation
- Strong storytelling and executive-facing communication skills
- Location: New York-based preferred to support strategic alignment with key Sports Partnersheadquartered in NYC
Travel Expectation:
20% annually, with peak activity during key tentpole events, regular sports league HQ meetings, Adobe Summit, and internal eld alignment.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $157,300 -- $301,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
