JOB DESCRIPTION: This position assists providers in direct care of patients, while maintaining the highest comfort and quality of care. This position will also include Dental Receptionist tasks. EDUCATION:High School or GED equivalency required. SKILLS:Minimum of 1-year dental assistant experience preferred, training available. CDA preferred/enrollment in program, training available. Experience with reception preferred. Good communication skills required. On-the-job training available. Must be courteous and efficient. Must understand principals of infection control. Experience with Dentrix Enterprise and Dexis Imaging preferred, training available. As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of patients for which care is being provided.
