Job Description

Tink U.S. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Product Manager (multiple openings) in New York, NY to refine and expand Tink's existing Payments products across a wide variety of markets and customer segments. Develop the next generation of Payments products from idea to execution in support of Tink's strategy. Lead developments in a multidisciplinary team that owns both the backend (bank connectivity) and front-end (back office, SDKs) parts of our payment solutions. Support our engineering teams in clearly defining and framing customer problems and needs and clearly communicating roadmap and priorities. Directly interact with key customers and partners. Through internal stakeholder collaboration, understand our customers' needs (present and future) and develop a cohesive vision of Tink's payment products. Position reports to the New York, New York office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a product manager-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Design or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a product manager-related occupation.
  • Analyzing customer problems and needs, shaping and delivering product strategy, and articulating product roadmaps;
  • API-based products and services, particularly in the financial sector;
  • Leading, driving, and executing the product roadmap;
  • Building products and APIs based on open banking technologies in both the accounts and payments space (AIS, PIS);
  • Designing and extending product APIs with capabilities/endpoints;
  • Writing API documentation (writing/enhancing) to improve developer experience;
  • User experience and user interface design principles (UI/UX);
  • Product development through SDKs (Web and Mobile);
  • Driving documentation, versioning, and customer integration;
  • Using data analytics to drive decision making and improve products;
  • Microsoft Office, Figma and Google Analytics tools (e.g. Looker Studio);
  • Conducting completive benchmarking and customer research to gain an understanding of market dynamics;
  • Working with directives such as PSD2 and GDPR;
  • Articulating business needs to the regulators (Central Banks, Financial Authorities) and translating upcoming 1033 regulation; and
  • Performance tracking, including setting and tracking KPIs, as well as analyzing product performance to ensure customer expectations are met.

Worksite: New York, NY

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $159,100.00 USD to $254,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.
