Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope: We are seeking an attorney with a minimum of three years of legal experience to fill an in-house legal position related to general legal matters and Government contracting. The position will provide general legal advice and support on all aspects of company legal matters to various internal and external stakeholders, with a specific emphasis on compliance with Government contracting requirements, and contract administration to ensure that contracts meet company business objectives and are within corporate and legal guidelines. This is a hybrid position located from our Legal Headquarters in Creve Coeur (St. Louis), Missouri. Candidates need to be a US Citizen or otherwise compliant with Government restrictions. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day counsel and advice regarding various and broad ranging legal matters;
- Review, negotiate, and manage Government contracts, customer contracts, third-party agreements, and vendor- supplier relationships. This includes dealing directly with customers, suppliers, and vendors in the contract negotiation process to review contractual terms for approval, resolve contract related problems, and be a source for answering questions regarding agreements and/or terms and conditions;
- Familiarity with common contractual language, as well as an understanding of state, federal and other regulatory laws and provisions;
- Candidate must be capable of both working as part of the existing Legal team as well as independently handling tasks and negotiations from start to finish;
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including requirements for the review and approval of completed agreements by management, compliance with Government regulations and confidentiality obligations, and ongoing oversight of agreements once completed;
- Research and provide general legal advice to various Business Units, as well as assist in the preparation of various company policies;
- Interface with functional departments throughout the company, including Contracts, Sales, Operations, Quality, Programs, and Business Unit Management to negotiate and execute agreements, as well as being responsive to inquiries regarding existing obligations;
- Work with, manage, and ensure cost effective services from outside counsel and consultants;
- Proactively identify trends and gaps in processes and procedures, partnering with business clients to implement positive change and strategic plans for claim avoidance;
- Establish and maintain relationships, credibility, and trust with clients, stakeholders, legal team members, and other colleagues;
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with United States Department of Defense requirements (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)/Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), Prime contractor flow downs, military specifications, etc.);
- Established track record or skills to draft and review legal documents;
- Excellent communication and drafting skills, including ability to actively listen with sensitivity and tact for difficult or challenging conversations;
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities and strong sense of initiative;
- Demonstrated ability to be collaborative, analytical, flexible, and proactive;
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively, efficiently and cooperatively in fast-paced environments, both independently and on a team;
- Superior time management, organization and project management skills;
- Strong business acumen;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong self-awareness and honed diplomacy skills with a proven ability to establish good professional relationships and credibility with internal clients, management and legal colleagues.
Education and Experience
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school;
- At least three years of legal experience, particularly in Government contract review, as well as general legal experience;
- Solid understanding of contract principles, government contracting, legal terminology, and contract administration processes;
- Experience with contractual matters in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required;
- Experience in Human Resources, real estate, and/or litigation preferred, but not required.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations. Export Statement: Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
