DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises, Inc is looking to fill an on-site Senior Systems Engineer with Aegis experience position in support of the Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer (CIAT) at Dahlgren, VA.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

• Working with the third party SIM lead to get the correct version/capability set from simulations.
• Understand the basics of virtual machines ("pinned down" and why it impacts development).
• Work with the Government Lead System Engineer to develop schedule for delivery.
• Work across functions to understand tasks and time constraints to meet delivery schedule.
• Integrate into the Product Development Team.
• Work with V2.6/7 to integrate into the Surface Combat Systems Training Command working group.
• Prepare cost estimates for future work.
• Working with Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, Assessment & Authorization to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) readiness.
• Lead Test Observation Report (TOR) Adjudication Meetings.
• Serve as Configuration Manager to execute meeting flow and agenda.
• Accountable for all Test Readiness Review (TRR) meetings and packages (functions to develop products and submit).
• Responsible for V2.5/7: Requirements Verification Matrix, Delivery Schedule, TOR Status, ATO, TRR, Test Plans, Risks.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
• Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) Accredited Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum. Examples include: Mechanical Engineering (ME) / Electrical Engineering (EE) / Industrial Engineering (IE) / Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) OR BS Degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
• Ten (10) years of General Surface Navy Combat Systems systems engineering experience with five (5) years of specialized experience with Aegis Integrated Combat Systems or Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense.
