This position serves as liaison between the Front Office staff and the Back Office staff, supporting/training/mentoring staff so that they can meet the needs of the patients. By facilitating good communication and workflow throughout the clinic, this position skillfully serves patients, providers, staff members and the clinic manager, enabling all staff to fulfill their job responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Partners with Clinic Manager/Clinic Practice Supervisor to develop standard practices for Back Office staff
  • Monitors patient care needs and suggests solutions to patient care problems
  • Works with Clinic Manager/Clinic Practice Supervisor to monitor and coordinate schedules of Back Office staff, including coordinating staff call-ins or vacations
  • Assists in planning and facilitating staff meetings as necessary
  • Serves as a liaison between Front and Back Office staff to ensure efficient communication and problem solving while promoting a cooperative and pleasant work environment
  • Assists Clinic Manager/Clinic Practice Supervisor in staffing matters including coordinating and participating in interviews, peer coaching, and orienting and training new Back Office staff
  • Assists with annual check-offs for staff such as N95 fittings, blood pressure, etc.
  • Assists the Clinic Manager/Clinic Practice Supervisor to develop clinic-specific performance goals and objectives that support and promote excellent customer service
  • Oversees supplies of durable medical goods, medications and equipment for Back Office staff. Orders supplies and medications as necessary. Maintains the safety and security of drugs in the clinic and the orderly distribution of medications
  • Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested
  • Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality regarding patient, personnel and business operations issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MA Certification from the AAMA, NCCT, NHA, or RMA required, or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire
  • 5+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certification required, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire



Preferred Qualification:



  • Experience with electronic medical record systems



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
