- Lead collections strategy to minimize losses for the business, covering all parts of Collection Strategy, including Contact Strategy, Hardship Programs, and Portfolio Analytics.
- Manage and Develop a large team of 15+ collection analysts
- Design, enhance, and execute and end to end collection strategy across phone, email, push notification, and letter strategies.
- Build and optimize hardship programs in support of financially distressed customers, matching programs to customer needs.
- Create a strong risk management and control culture to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and policy requirements
- Communicate effectively and clearly with senior stakeholders and external partners
QUALIFICATIONS Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant industry expertise in a portfolio of large-scale accounts
- Broad based knowledge of collections and recoveries regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership as well as junior analysts
- Ability to lead the design and build out of a multi-channel collections strategy, that both lowers losses and maximizes customer experience to include experience in digital outreach, web and app experience, channel segmentation and optimization, and digital conversion rates
- Experience in design and implementation of digital self-servicing tools that prevent excessive contact center calls and maximize loss mitigation in a large portfolio
- Experience in design and execution of a credit testing strategy utilizing risk models and decision tree frameworks
- Experience in design, implementation and optimization of hardship/workout programs that meet regulatory requirements
- Bachelors degree in relevant discipline. Masters Degree preferred.
