The Opportunity...

We're seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and delivery of our next-generation cloud applications, database, and storage services. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support teams to define product roadmaps, drive go-to-market plans, and ensure world-class customer outcomes at scale.

What You'll Do...



  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and evangelize the end-to-end product vision and long-term strategy for cloud apps, database engines, and storage offerings.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization: Build and maintain a prioritized product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across cross-functional teams-including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support-to translate requirements into clear deliverables and accelerate time to market.
  • Customer & Market Insights: Engage directly with enterprise customers and partners to uncover pain points, validate product hypotheses, and shape future capabilities.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Partner with marketing and sales enablement to create positioning, collateral, and launch plans that drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Metrics & Performance: Define success metrics (e.g., usage, revenue, NPS) and use data-driven insights to optimize feature performance and guide iterative improvements.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, user groups, and conferences; contribute to blogs, whitepapers, and analyst briefings.



Who You Are...



  • Experience: 10+ years in product management, with at least 5 years leading cloud-native application or data services portfolios.
  • Technical Background: Deep understanding of cloud architectures (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), database technologies (relational, NoSQL, NewSQL), and storage systems (object, block, file).
  • Data Protection & Resiliency: Proven background in data protection, disaster recovery (DR) strategies, and cyber resiliency frameworks.
  • Demonstrated Impact: Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products used by large enterprises or cloud service providers.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives and technical audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Location & Travel: Must be based in the United States and able to travel domestically or internationally up to 30% annually.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working at or with hyperscale cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in data analytics and open table formats (e.g., Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake).
  • Advanced degree with specialization in product management or technology strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data pipelines and data flows.
  • Experience in designing and delivering developer tools or APIs for database administrators, data engineers, and ML/AI application developers.
