The Center for Women and Work (
CWW) at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations is seeking a Research Coadjutant to contribute to our work advancing equitable child care policy in New Jersey and beyond and serve as a thought partner in the design and development of research projects.
As part of an interdisciplinary team of scholars and research staff, the Research Coadjutant will:
- Draft memos, briefs, and other deliverables aimed at policymakers, advocates, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to research dissemination strategies that prioritize impact and accessibility.
- Participate in qualitative field work (e.g., interviews and focus groups).
- Support data analysis and contribute to scholarly manuscripts.
- Conduct secondary data analysis related to child care supply and demand, workforce issues, and family needs.
We are looking for a thoughtful, collaborative scholar who will help shape and execute research that informs policy and practice to better support children, families, and the early childhood workforce. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Ph.D. in economics with a research focus relevant to child care, labor markets, or family policy.

- Demonstrated experience working with community partners or engaging in community-informed research.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
