Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Beloit, WI Shift: 1st Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic and tactical Production Supervisor to lead our 1st shift operations in Beloit, WI. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can think beyond day-to-day supervision, driving performance, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of production, including quality, cost, safety, and scheduling, while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet established KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost - Align team and individual objectives with plant goals and motivate employees through coaching, recognition, and feedback - Manage staffing levels, coordinate schedules, and ensure readiness to meet production demands - Drive performance management activities, including employee development, evaluations, corrective actions, and hiring - Enforce adherence to work instructions, quality standards, and safety policies - Champion Lean initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, and standardized work practices - Support MES utilization and integration with automation and robotics to improve efficiency - Conduct daily Gemba walks and engage in tactical problem-solving to remove roadblocks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and implement sustainable solutions - Ensure compliance with QMS/ISO/ASME standards and other regulatory requirements - Actively promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role - Proven ability to manage production processes measured in minutes per unit - Strong knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing principles - Experience working with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) preferred - Exposure to automation/robotics in a production environment strongly desired - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Key Traits for Success: - Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills - Clear, consistent communicator and motivator - Organized, detail-oriented, and action-driven - Passionate about employee development and team building - Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence Why Join Us?
