Job Title: Automation Technician
Location: Beloit, WI Position Summary: The Automation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated systems used in the manufacturing or production environment. This role ensures that all automated machinery, control systems, robotics, and instrumentation function efficiently and reliably to support uninterrupted operations. The Automation Technician works closely with engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to optimize system performance, implement improvements, and respond to technical issues. Minimum Qualifications: - Associate degree or technical certification in Automation or Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. (Equivalent experience with no degree may be considered) - Hands-on proven experience with industrial automation systems, including Human Machine Interface (HMI)s, sensors, Programmable logic controller (PLC)s, Variable frequency drive (VFD)s, and robotics - Ability to work independently and respond to technical challenges under pressure - Ability to learn and support control systems for multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously - Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams | |
