YOUR ROLE

As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you'll lead the charge in ensuring our facility, grounds, and equipment operate at peak performance within a 1M+ sq. ft. contract logistics operations inGoodyear, Arizona. You'll manage and mentor a team of skilled maintenance technicians and group leads, oversee critical infrastructure systems, and partner with contractors on facility upgrades and equipment implementations. From HVAC to conveyor systems, your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?



  • Define staffing needs and lead the recruitment, development, and retention of a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans in line with manufacturers' specifications and operational requirements.
  • Ensure facility equipment and systems are fully operational to meet business needs and customer SLAs.
  • Track maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory using appropriate tools and systems.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to landlords and corporate facilities teams.
  • Oversee service contracts and vendor relationships for supported systems (automation, P.I.T., HVAC, generators, etc.).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on renovation and equipment installation projects, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.



WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 3-5 years of maintenance management experience in a logistics/distribution environment required; 7+ years preferred.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.



Skills & Competencies:



  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations, OSHA standards, SOX (with quarterly reporting) and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance operations, facilities engineering principles, and industry best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and job-specific software.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and resource management.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, regulatory documents, and performance data.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
