Job Description

We are currently hiring a Sr. Associate Brand Manager, Angry Orchard in Boston, MA.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday).

This role will team up with our Sr. Brand Manager to deliver the annual strategic and tactical plan, and be responsible for all aspects of marketing including, but not limited to: strategic planning, creative asset development across advertising/social/point of sale/packaging graphics, consumer promotion, P&L management, & agency management.

What You'll Brew:



  • Support in the development and implementation of a brand plan for driving sustainable, long-term growth while delivering the budget and strategy for the current fiscal
  • Help support the creation of annual strategic and operating plans
  • Analysis, tracking, generation of data and reports that lead to insights that drive action plan
  • Identify and manage new and exciting brand partnerships that resonate with our drinkers and support the overall brand plan
  • Manage internal and agency creative with strong briefing that drives cohesive communication for packaging, advertising content and digital programming supporting media buys across all channels of media
  • Project manage cross functional teams in the delivery of all marketing support tactics
  • Manage the brands experiential strategy that supports our seasonal brand plan programming
  • Assist in the oversight and development of the portfolio for specific retail programs including any packaging and product related work for core and innovation portfolio and channel extensions
  • Support the brand at events, promotional activities, sales meetings
  • Generate selling materials that provide the sales organization ample, yet simple and compelling rationale for customers to support brand initiatives
  • Support management of the budget and participate in S&OP/P&L/inventory administration, and manage all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budget
  • Occasional travel for meetings and trainings


What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years experience in a results-oriented consumer product marketing role at a marketing driven firm

    • Beverage industry or traditional CPG experience is preferred, but not necessary

  • Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioning
  • Experience in developing consumer marketing communications
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to project completion

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, add value and provide action-oriented recommendations in-line with business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to gather consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative market research and translate into creative marketing initiatives
  • Ability to move quickly and independently
  • Proactive problem-solver - is always thinking several steps ahead
  • Ability to work well with and lead cross-functional teams to project completion
  • Solid inter-personal and communication skills, are highly organized, flexible, self-motivated and able to succeed in a dynamic fast-paced environment


Level: 6

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $73,000 and $133,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance.
