POSITION DESCRIPTION

An Administrative Assistant at SET Environmental is responsible to:



  • Safety Functions:

    • Regulatory Medical Examination Oversight

      • Tracking due dates and required documents regarding employees required medical examinations
      • Scheduling of examinations using 3rd party portal
      • Communication with managers/employees on scheduling appointments and any follow up items determined by the medical professional




  • Subcontractor Compliance

    • Obtain and process requests to qualify new subcontractors
    • Regular upkeep and review of current subcontractors to ensure SET requirements for qualification of use are being met


  • Driver & Task Qualification

    • Driver Qualification (DQ) file preparation and upkeep
    • Ensuring the systems are up to date with new hires, changes, and terminations


  • Workers Compensation

    • Facilitating the invoices to the correct department for payment


  • Miscellaneous Functions

    • Complete customer Environmental Health & Safety prequalification packet requests
    • Data entry of maintenance inspections and registrations into SET's Equipment Management portal
    • Perform other administrative duties within the EH&S Department as needed





POSITION REQUIREMENTS



  • High School Diploma, or equivalent education, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three to Five years of strong administrative work experience
  • Proficient computer skills including and Microsoft Office Suite, and e-mail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relates well and exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and maintains a constructive working relationship
  • Prompt, thorough, and accurate with all assignments
  • High organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task while managing a heavy workload
  • Proven self-starter, highly motivated, sets aggressive goals
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive employee data and information
  • Good judgment, decision-making, adaptability, teamwork
