Duties and Responsibilities	Carries out experiments as instructed by PI. RA will receive training to be able to perform the techniques required to complete the project. Monitors inventory of essential lab supplies and order additional supplies when required. Prepares solutions, buffers, and media. Gathers, organizes, enters, and analyzes data; perform literature searches on computer and retrieve literature from library. Incorporates new information/techniques into experiments with PIs approval. Maintains a safe and orderly lab environment. Makes sure lab environment complies with safety regulations.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience	Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Experience: Required: None Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Qualifications	Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related field. Ability to communicate verbally Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established procedures Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency Ability to perform basic filing, office procedures, and word processing Ability to work as an effective team member High standards of integrity
