What does an HR Associate, Employee Relations & Leave Specialist at Swire Coca-Cola do? The HR Associate, Employee Relations & Leave Specialist is responsible for supporting the Employee Relations team, which includes triaging cases on behalf of the team, writing and reviewing corrective actions, assisting employees with questions related to leave and accommodations, and maintaining the HRIS system as it relates to employee relations and leave matters. The Employee Relations & Leave Specialist must have the ability to quickly learn processes, policies, and state or federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Triage all incoming Employee Relations requests and assign to appropriate Employee Relations team member in a timely manner
- Draft and review employee corrective actions, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and that signed copies are maintained in HRIS systems
- Follow up with leaders and employees on missing information related to corrective actions, investigations, etc
- Support Leave & Accommodation Partner in coordination of leaves (i.e. workers' compensation with FMLA) and coordination with other functions (benefits during LOA, payroll, etc.)
- Assist Employee Relations Partners with investigations
- Update HRIS system with Employee Relations information (i.e. LOA dates, terminations, corrective actions, etc.)
- Provide administrative support to the Employee Relations team
- Ensure all locations have updated labor posters
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience (1 additional year of experience required in lieu of every 1 year of schooling) required
- 1 + years General HR Human Resources experience, including reviewing and interpreting HR policies and supporting FMLA & ADA programs required
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers and others within the organization
- Proficiency with Word and Excel
- Ability to quickly learn multiple state leave laws
- Ability to quickly learn multiple state employment laws
- Good understanding of federal employment laws (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, etc)
- Experience conducting internal investigations
