JOB TITLE: RN Staff DEPT: NICU LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN SHIFT: PRN, as needed. 6:45pm - 7:15am MAURY REGIONAL HEALTH: At Maury Regional Health, patients are at the heart of everything we do. ABOUT THE UNIT: At Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC), our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides specialized care for newborns with conditions such as prematurity, infection and respiratory issues. We are an 8-bed unit with a 2/3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Our neonatology physicians and neonatal nurse practitioners are provided by Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, ensuring expert care for our most vulnerable patients. The NICU team includes board-certified neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, registered nurses (with certification ranging from low risk neonatal to neonatal intensive care) and respiratory therapists, many of whom hold certifications in neonatal resuscitation and other specialties. Lactation consultants are available to assist mothers in with breastfeeding, and through our partnership with the Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee, we offer pasteurized human donor milk for infants in need. Our NICU is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to premature and high-risk babies.
