What You Will Do:



  • Performs complex operational support duties and acts as a subject matter expert for the broad scope of the department's core operational processes and procedures relating to IRA, agency, fiduciary and custody, etc. account types.
  • Provides oversight for the department for the timely and accurate execution of individual tasks including opening new accounts, incoming/outgoing money movement (checks/ACH/wires, etc.), sweep vehicles, and asset transfers.
  • Participates in the process of compiling and disseminating the information for both trust and non-trust investment management accounts.
  • Trains associates on established policies and procedures. Ensures that all policies and procedures are adhered to as defined by management.
  • Ensures that processes are sufficiently documented and facilitates the periodic updating of policies and desktop procedures.
  • Collaborates with peers, management and/or internal business unit representatives as appropriate to identify and/or lead the implementation of process improvement initiatives. Drives continuous improvement via the analysis of established processes for opportunities to better mitigate risk, processing time, and/or team culture.
  • Provides department-level support to the broad organization, acting as a point of escalation and interacting with internal leaders to produce solutions and/or results.
  • Provides direct team supervision to a team of 4-6 associates. Performs leadership tasks such as individual goal setting and performance assessment. Delivers effective performance and career coaching in the form of periodic one on one sessions and/or action plans.


What You Bring:



  • Intermediate-level familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to communicate clearly to various levels within the organization.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the investment and/or trust administration industries is required.
  • Strong social and emotional intelligence skills and ability to influence others effectively is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Resiliency and ability to work in a highly time-sensitive environment.
  • Adaptability and comfort with change.
  • Ability to work independently to gather information.
