YOUR ROLE:

  • Lead end-to-end finance transformation projects, including assessments, process reengineering, technology enablement, and change management.
  • Partner with senior Technology and Finance leaders to understand their strategic objectives and align solutions to business goals.
  • Design and implement improvements to finance processes such as financial consolidation, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of finance technologies, including ERP systems (Oracle on-premise and cloud apps), EPM platforms (Oracle EPM cloud and Anaplan, integrations applications and financial reporting tools.
  • Ensure delivery excellence by managing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Lead the implementation of financials-related functional and technical design, configuration, development, and support for continuous improvements and Oracle Cloud ERP and/or Oracle EBS R12 globally, specifically in finance, costing, and project modules.
  • Collaborate on designing system and business process solutions to business challenges ensuring a strong foundation for enterprise architecture principles, transformation vision, security standards, automation and AI enablement (embedded or agentic).
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans to check infrastructure, security, systems technical development, and functional configuration, making recommendations for improvement where possible.
  • Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow across the ERP platform.
  • Prepare system and process end-to-end architecture designs, business process flows, integration requirements, and specification documents.
  • Conduct training on Oracle Cloud ERP functionality or finance business processes.
  • Lead monthly agile sprints for finance enhancements based on business priority and resource capacity.
  • Foster strong communication between business users and application developers to understand key issues, identify perception gaps, and resolve questions.
  • Adhere to existing change management and service management policies and procedures.
  • Manage medium to large-scale project schedules, track progress, provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinate actions, and resolve conflicts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/IS or a related discipline from an accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable foreign university.
  • Over seven years of hands-on functional experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS R12 and integrated systems, including full lifecycle implementations and statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report business processes with US GAAP requirements and a strong finance domain expertise.
  • Ability to reconcile financial data working with shared services and accounting teams.
  • Ability to think critically and constructively about complex business problems, clearly communicate findings, and recommend solutions that address business challenges and project requirements.
  • Establish documentation standards, procedures, and guidelines, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Expert project manager with extensive experience leading multiple finance transformation projects in waterfall or agile SDLC formats including developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, budget management, issue and risk management, and presenting deliverables.
  • Strong communication (written and oral), analytical, and computer skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer and business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements and technology solutions.
  • Experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud - Financial Applications in various geographies, meeting local regulatory requirements along with quarterly cloud updates.
  • Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud experience is preferable.
  • Knowledge of ITIL platforms and process areas such as ServiceNow is a plus.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $120,000 USD - $192,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
