Part-time Noncredit(Licensure Required) Emergency Medical Technologies (EMTV) Salary: $102.90 - $139.04 Hourly Job Type: PT Noncredit Faculty Job Number: 07/2025- NC04 Closing: Location: Wake Campus, CA Department: SEL Vocational Basic Functions Part-Time Instructor Pool - Noncredit - Emergency Medical Technologies (EMTV) Vocational Provide quality instruction, create and maintain an environment which emphasizes teaching and learning and encourages free discussion of ideas, interests and issues. Primary duties of adjunct faculty members are related to curriculum and teaching; the assignment is divided between lecture and lab classes as determined by the department. Part time Faculty instructional faculty are required to be available to students outside of class. The starting noncredit adjunct rate for licensure required positions at salary table 11 is $102.90 per hour-Lecture and $82.33 per hour-Lab. If you have an advanced degree, the rate is $107.87 per hour-Lecture and $86.30 per hour-Lab. Education and Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications for the discipline as approved by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors and defined in the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges handbook. Any bachelor's degree AND Two years of experience OR Any associate degree AND Six years of experience OR Possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to all of the above. The successful candidate's name will then be presented to the Board of Trustees for final approval and authorization to hire. Candidates will participate primarily in remote interviews and in some instances final interviews may be conducted in person while observing all health and safety protocols as approved by the Santa Barbara County Health Department.
