Pay $25.97 per hour Part Time Temporary Job Summary This is a temporary, part-time position within the Denver Day Works (DDW) program, which provides low barrier, supported employment opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness. Grounds Crew Members will assist with maintenance and stewardship duties while receiving support to pursue long-term housing and employment goals. Primary Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions. * Ability to communicate clearly with the Field Lead, team members, and park visitors. * Basic ability to tell time and understand shift durations. * No advanced math skills are required. * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. * Ability to identify when to seek help from a supervisor in unexpected or unclear situations. * Able to work outside in Colorado weather during all seasons * Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs * Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly. * Must be comfortable performing physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Supervision Received: Close Supervision: The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedure and receives detailed instructions. Work is checked frequently. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
