The Supervisor, Facilities is a leadership role with a focus on strategic facilities management and oversight of complex, multidimensional projects. This position involves providing visionary leadership, managing high-level initiatives, and ensuring the organization's physical infrastructure aligns with industry best practices, safety standards, and sustainable principles.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of comprehensive facilities management plans.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align facilities strategies with overall organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging industry trends and implement cutting-edge solutions to enhance facility efficiency.
  • Lead and inspire a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Encourage innovation and creative problem-solving within the facilities department.
  • Provide oversight and strategic direction for facilities operations on a larger scale.
  • Navigate and ensure compliance with facilities management practices, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the implementation of facilities management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the development and management of the facilities budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimization of resources.
  • Conduct advanced financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with facilities operations and large-scale projects.
  • Ensure compliance with complex local, state, federal, and international regulations and codes.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies for facilities projects and ongoing operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Expertise in providing thought leadership within the facilities management industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of integrating advanced technologies into facilities management practices.
  • Advanced knowledge in managing crises, implementing emergency response plans, and ensuring business continuity.
  • Advanced financial analysis skills for strategic decision-making and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Ability to think strategically and align facilities strategies with broader organizational goals.

Experience Required/Preferred: 10 years

Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred: Trade/Vocational School

Pay Range: $86,334 - $125184
