NATURE AND SCOPE

The Business Analyst drives, supports, and enables change through process improvement and delivery of technology. Reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Project Management Office, the Business Analyst participates and/or leads project initiation, process design, requirements, functional design, and test phases of projects. The Business Analyst may serve as a relationship manager with business stakeholders and collaborates with the Business Analyst Sr to ensure projects and solutions meet business objectives.


REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 year of professional experience on a technology delivery team. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

2. Experience in developing scope and requirements; translating and documenting functional and non-functional business needs into requirements or user stories, including acceptance criteria and traceability through full project lifecycle.

3. Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.

4. Experience with multiple delivery methodologies, including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall

5. Experience with process flow development and process reengineering.

6. Strong relationship management and customer service skills.

7. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and solution development skills.

8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid presentation skills.

9. Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job related State and Federal laws and regulations.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and manage project scope and requirements.

2. Facilitate requirements and design sessions with various stakeholders from across the organization.

3. Develop project and support documentation per project and organization standards.

4. Participate in the estimating, planning, requirements, and design activities.

5. Develop as-is and to-be process flows and models.

6. Manage project issues, risks, and change requests.

7. Provide clear and timely communication on project status, issues, risks, and changes to management and project stakeholders.

8. Participate in internal continuous improvement projects.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.
