As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to residents and visitors, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly and professionally, and act as a reliable resource for those on the property. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related threats.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
