CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Assistant Regional Counsel to join our Legal Department in our Albany office.



YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services. These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

At CHA, the Assistant Regional Counsel supports the Assistant General Counsel on all legal matters including contract review and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and claims management, negotiation of disputes with contractors and subcontractors, and employment law issues, and provides support on all day-to-day risk management in the geographic region.

The Assistant Regional Counsel plays a key role in ensuring compliance with the company's business code of conduct. This individual will be responsible for the business and professional company registrations, legal disclosure forms, and certifications required to operate the business.

The Assistant Regional Counsel aids the Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and document review, as well as other company initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

    Juris Doctor, admitted and in good standing to practice law in any state in the United States
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the practice of law
  • Demonstrated judgment and exercise of discretion including confidential matters
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
  • Comprehensive knowledge of management principles
  • Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills
  • Occasional travel to sites


SALARY RANGE:

$105,000 - $120,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
