Job Description

    The Renewal Manager 3 is responsible for owning and executing higher value renewal agreements in an assigned territory by leveraging a diversity of experience and negotiation skill. They will look to secure on time renewals that maximize retention uplifts length and growth while seeking the most favorable terms possible.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the renewal process for a defined set of customers of a mid to large size renewal to secure renewal via quote and proposal creation and price and contract negotiation.
  • Perform contract product and account review in order to contact customers proactively and reactively. Collaborate with customer success and sales.
  • Create proposals and communicate the value proposition of the renewal in terms of ROI. Communicate the value of the solutions and services to the customer.
  • Negotiate and bring to successful closure renewals for assigned customers
  • Forecast renewal pricing timing and risks. Communicate reporting to leadership team.
  • Track and maintain accurate customer data and renewal notes in appropriate company systems
  • Collaborate internally with customer success and support to provide customer assistance related to the renewal and discuss product benefits at a complex level.
  • Collaborate with sales during renewal phase to align and maximize new revenue.
  • Read comprehend and explain legal agreements to understand and provide feedback and input.
  • May provide guidance to other team members

Minimum Qualifications

  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
  • Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Strong organizational multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
  • Strong leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to influence motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
  • Strong ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products
  • Business and technology acumen
  • Company software technology knowledge
  • At least 5 years in customer facing role
  • Must have at least 3 years experience working on negotiating commercial agreements preferably in software
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Up to 25% travel time required
