Interested in leading and implementing the safe and effective repair, maintenance, removal, and installation of the terminal, pipeline, and related facilities, including emergency response? Our Supervisor Pipeline Maintenance position could be for you! Here's what you will do:
Ensures pipeline system maintenance work is implemented in a safe and efficient manner. Interpretation and application of Enbridge engineering standards, State and Federal regulations, industry codes, and industry recommend practices. Development and approval of Open System Job Planning Templates, The hydro-test plans, and other project specific documents. Participate and or lead in design reviews, tie-in coordination, outage scope identification, and outage work sequencing and alignment. Develop processes and procedures. Develop project execution plans, direct and supervise PLM work. Responsible for capital and operating expenses, and requisitions for services, supplies, and equipment. Coordinates work with other departments internally and externally. (Technical trades, Control Center Operations, Liquids Pipeline Engineering, Project Development and Execution, contractors, etc.) Equipment and material specification and procurement. Capital tools and equipment purchase identification, including cost/benefit development. Support the development and implementation of SCN's and AFE's from the budget proposal stage through contract administration, construction management, and cost control and reporting. Coordinates and leads emergency response activities including containment, repair, and clean up. Develop and maintain knowledge of pipeline maintenance construction activities and best practices. Responsible for fostering an environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and innovation while maintaining a strict alignment to safety standards and compliance with regulations and procedures. Perform Area activities; assist in Area Management duties as required, complete various documentation, reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and review Company standards and procedures.
Who you are: You have the following education and experience:
Related university degree and seven (7) years of experience OR nine (9) years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience. Shown project management skills and logistical coordination skills. Contract administration skills related to budget coordination, management, contractor oversight and inspection, and landowner liaison. Ability to comprehend and apply technical & engineering concepts including material standards and regulatory codes and Standards. A thorough understanding of and disciplined adherence to Company safety standards, company policies, and operation and maintenance procedures Mechanical/electrical proficiency and administrative ability
Working Conditions:
Completes office and field work as tasks dictate, frequent visits to construction sites, occasional travel including international travel which requires a passport. Office environment with regularly scheduled travel - 60% office/40% field. Frequent over-time and flexibility required to manage multiple projects, work priorities, fieldwork schedules, and travel. Position frequently requires quick decision making under intense conditions.
