Job Purpose

The Specification Control Specialist main focus is to ensure that newly established part numbers are accurately identified with supplier/application information, submitted for appropriate maintenance to the AH masterfile, and distributed to necessary associates. The Specialist contributes to AHM's customer service mission by ensuring part numbers are established for customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities

* Factory Engineering Design Change review
* New Model Planning
* Spec Control activities and logs
* IC and CRF support
* Spec/ NM Projects as assigned

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Four to Six years of experience in a procurement, production control, or engineering capacit
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
  • Engineering design change control
  • Ability to read drawings
  • PC Skills
  • Communication Skills
Working Conditions

Office environment, minimal travel required.
