As aManager, Facilities Operations in our Houston, TX location, you will be responsible for managing the Facility Maintenance, Machine Shop, Facility Engineering, and Custodial departments. This includes general facility asset maintenance and improvement projects, as well as coordination of overall facility modifications, additions, and alterations.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Maintaining the Alcon facility in a safe, functional, and compliant manner.
• Ensuring operations meet all relevant governmental and corporate regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing maintenance of critical facility process utilities including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
• Developing and managing departmental budgets.
• Leading and developing associates to ensure an engaged and productive team.
• Participating as an active member of the site emergency management team.
• Acting as Subject Matter Expert on maintenance management, including FDA regulations and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Coordinating facility improvement projects and ensuring timely execution.
• Managing relationships with external contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs.; Assoc.+11yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• 7 Years of Demonstrated Leadership experience

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in facilities management or engineering leadership roles.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and maintenance best practices in a regulated environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with emergency response planning and facility safety protocols.
• Technical learning agility and a proactive mindset.
