General Function:

The Sr Product Manager for Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories (AFA) will include responsibilities for all North America and contribute to the development of AFA growth initiatives across all sport verticals, product categories, and channels of trade for Costa del Mar and Oakley. The role will be responsible for creating sales tools and marketplace direction to support the sales team, collaborating with Milan to create and support a global line plan structure. The role will be the main tactical contact between key stakeholders across North America, both internal and external, as well as, with the Global team in order to implement and facilitate the right execution for the doubling of the AFA business in North America.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Drive achievement of annual sales in AFA by training and presenting the In-Line product support for both CDM and Oakley.
  • Responsible for the commercialization of main product verticals while influencing the rest of the line with clear NA strategy to Global
  • Responsible for the implementation of SMU strategy without compromising productivity of line and commercial margin opportunities.
  • Collaborates with sales teams to drive brand recognition and market penetration, while ensuring alignment with global brand direction.
  • Leads the team in executing GTM calendar in collaboration with HQ team.
  • Develops customer segmentation and assortment strategies for all product lines and AFA verticals in collaboration with sales leaders.
  • Oversees team activity in merchandising key account meetings, trade shows and key channel event in both US and Canada
  • Defines, executes and monitors the GTM strategy for all sample sets.
  • Establish market research templates for feedback on trends to the global product team across the verticals for each channel and develop sales/merchant market tours to gain key feedback across US and Canada.

  • Partner with Planning and Brand Marketing to make decisions that support initiatives that affect marketing roadmaps, inventory management, and purchasing.
  • Educate cross-functional teams on marketplace capacity, insights, and trends through Regional Inputs, Hindsighting, Prebook analysis, and Category Comp Cards while relying on data for the marketplace
  • Contribute to future season plans and adoption by supporting Merchandising Leadership and upstream partnership within Global Merchandising.
  • Provide necessary data inputs to Demand Planning to establish accurate forecasts to address channel product needs and increase inventory optimization


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree of from accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience working within Sport/Lifestyle Apparel and Accessories brands collaborating with sales and product functions
  • 4+ years of Go-To-Market Experience, preferably within the Sport/Lifestyle industry
  • Strong ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Travel domestically; potentially international

Pay Range: 133,831.60-199,756.80

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
