Automation Engineer

We have an opportunity for an Automation Engineer to join our Sanford, NC team. You will guide equipment suppliers / integrators in equipment design, line setup and performance evaluation of manufacturing equipment. You will create/modify programs on manufacturing test equipment. We will provide a dynamic high paced we do it the "right" way, through Positive Energy, Respect & Teamwork, and Absolute Integrity.

You will:

• Programming and troubleshooting PLC control systems.
• Provide guidance to other engineers and maintenance technicians on trouble shooting of equipment.
• You will mostly interact with Value Stream Leaders, Manufacturing Engineers, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement team.

Key Qualifications:

• I have earned a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics)
• I have 5+ years of experience as a hands-on contributor working on mechanical and/or electromechanical systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment or with assembly production utilizing automated manufacturing equipment.
• I have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience with Robotic Automation, PLC programming, ControlLogix, automatic parts feeders

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
