We are seeking a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Enterprise API - Agentic API Access team. This role serves as a comprehensive solution for all DevOps functions, focusing on building and managing cloud-native infrastructure environments. The position balances engineering excellence with operational expertise, requiring systems configuration management and software development skills.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can act independently and represent operations core values across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Leadership & Platform Ownership

  • Drive, implement, support and maintain infrastructure services with primary focus on container orchestration platforms

  • Lead complex infrastructure migrations from legacy platforms to modern cloud-native solutions

  • Navigate technical debt and legacy pipeline constraints while addressing platform gaps and customizations

  • Optimize deployments for restricted environments and multi-region configurations

  • Serve as subject matter expert for critical infrastructure domains including container platforms, deployment automation, and release management

Independent Technical Delivery

  • Demonstrate high degree of autonomy in delivering complex infrastructure projects

  • Design and implement cross-regional infrastructure solutions spanning backend services, data modeling, and security assessments

  • Lead spike work and proof-of-concept development for ambiguous technical challenges

  • Translate broad operational goals into scalable, production-grade infrastructure solutions

  • Drive end-to-end project execution from scoping and breakdown to delivery without regressions

Production Excellence & Customer Success

  • Debug issues with container clusters and complex applications hosted in orchestrated environments

  • Lead incident response efforts with clarity and urgency, even when not on primary support rotation

  • Proactively identify and resolve production issues before they impact customers

  • Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD processes related to containerized deployments

  • Maintain comprehensive observability, monitoring, and auditing capabilities

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with application teams to ensure infrastructure best practices and enable self-service automation

  • Collaborate with DevOps and platform-adjacent teams on infrastructure standardization

  • Share knowledge and learnings across teams, creating cross-functional multiplier effects

  • Drive migration of services to production container environments

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

Requirements:

  • A related technical degree required

  • Minimum 8 years of DevOps experience required

  • Extensive understanding of Kubernetes architecture and proven work experience managing Kubernetes (minimum 3 years)

  • Experience with deploying and upgrading Kubernetes clusters

  • Experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, Strata, Spinnaker

  • Experience with IaC technologies like Kubernetes, terraform and Helm charts

  • Experience with Python/golang/node.js

  • In-depth experience in automation (Infrastructure-as-Code).

  • Solid experience with Linux administration combined with good understanding of Linux infrastructure

  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
