We are seeking a Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely after the training period. The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering is a senior technical leader responsible for designing and implementing Regency's modern network, infrastructure, and security architecture. This role brings deep technical expertise in cloud, networking, identity, and endpoint technologies, driving critical platform initiatives with minimal supervision. The role supports and partners with teams across Security, Cloud, Network, Service Desk, and Application Development, serving as both an escalation point and an architecture authority. With a focus on secure, scalable, and resilient systems, the Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Architecture and Engineering plays a pivotal role in modernizing the enterprise stack, aligning technology solutions with business needs, and mentoring senior engineers in execution excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Technical Execution

    • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Regency's infrastructure, cloud (Azure), networking, cybersecurity, identity, and endpoint management platforms.
    • Architect solutions across identity and access management, backup/DR, hybrid cloud, and Zero Trust security.
    • Act as the final escalation point for complex, business-critical issues and incidents.
    • Own technical evaluations, platform selection, and engineering standards.
    • Ensure resiliency, observability, and policy enforcement across platforms.
    • Improve the IT delivery cost structure.

      • Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering: Cisco Meraki (LAN/WAN), firewall, VPNS.

      • Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, M365.

    • Expert-level troubleshooting skills and architectural thinking.

  • Technical Leadership

    • Lead cross-domain infrastructure projects such as Intune rollouts, conditional access modernization, or network architecture updates.
    • Translate business needs into available, cost-effective, scalable, and secure architectural solutions.
    • Serve as senior reviewer in change management.
    • Define infrastructure reliability goals and guide their adoption via clear SLOs and automation-friendly policy models.
    • Demonstrated ability to design and implement cross-domain infrastructure changes with minimal supervision.
    • Experience building SLOs/SLAs for infrastructure services.
    • ITIL practical knowledge.
    • Experience with Disaster Recovery and High Availability architecture.
    • Capable of managing vendors and cross-functional relationships.

  • Lead the team delivering Network, Cloud, and Security services

    • Provide guidance and technical coaching to engineers across Cloud, Security, Systems, and Dev teams.
    • Champion a culture of service ownership and engineering excellence.
    • Collaborate closely with TPMs, developers, and senior IT leadership to ensure alignment and delivery.
    • Mentor staff in troubleshooting, architectural thinking, and decision making.
    • Strong written and verbal communication-can explain technical decisions clearly and in plain language.
    • Calm under pressure; confident decision-maker during outages or escalations.
    • Leads with empathy, empowering team members to excel in their specialized roles while maintaining a cohesive team dynamic.
    • Has high standards and elevates those around them through competence and clarity.
