Location: Arlington, Virginia or Huntsville, Alabama | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: Public Trust
Note: This position is part of an active proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award.

Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support investigations of national security concern. This role will leverage advanced open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies to support federal law enforcement by identifying individuals, entities, and organizations of interest. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, OSINT collection, and pattern identification, and will play a vital role in enhancing intelligence support requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct digital open-source research and analysis to support national security investigations.
  • Identify individuals, entities, and organizations relevant to GTI investigations.
  • Assess foreign and domestic publicly available information to uncover trends, patterns, and relationships that inform investigative priorities.
  • Apply advanced analytics to detect high-risk areas for weapons proliferation and guide enforcement efforts.
  • Perform data collection, entry, and normalization, including the standardization of foreign-to-English naming conventions.
  • Execute data mining and scraping activities across the open and dark web, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Analyze collected data to develop insights through trend, link, and network analysis.
  • Conduct social media exploitation and track illicit network activity to identify hidden associations and threats.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in OSINT support, including the processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) of collected data.
  • At least four (4) years of experience conducting data mining or scraping from open and dark web sources, and applying ETL processes.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in social media exploitation, network analysis, and identifying illicit trends and associations.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis, including trend and link analysis.
