Regional Medical Directors (RMDs) play an important role in promoting a safe and just clinical environment for our patients and providers. Regional Medical Directors maintain a clinical caseload and/or supervision, as well as provide administrative services. The Regional Medical Director will work as a dyad partner to the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Operations for their region(s). Regional Medical Directors formally report up through the Chief Medical Officer for Clinical Services. Due to business needs and travel requirements, residency on the East Coast is highly preferred. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $258,000 - $423,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
