Location:Independence, MO

Salary:$20.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule:5 8hour Days: Days, Evenings, and weekend shift available.

Focus: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for efficiently processing customer orders, managing inquiries and complaints, and supporting shipping and receiving operations through accurate data entry and communication in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Customer Service Representative Essential Job Functions:

  • Enter and process customer orders accurately and promptly using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Generate outbound orders, verify inventory availability, and prepare all necessary order documentation.

  • Coordinate special or last-minute shipping requests with operations teams.

  • Record inbound receipts, manage damaged product and returned merchandise documentation.

  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries and complaints via phone and email, maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records as directed by management.

Customer Service Representative Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse clerical or customer service functions preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Previous logistics/warehouse experience at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant preferred

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.

  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. To meet the government-facility requirements, the candidate must be a US citizen.
