Join Our Team as a Salesforce Business Analyst at Epiroc!

The Salesforce Business Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support across the commercial organization, including sales, marketing, and service teams. This role is responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into system improvements, and delivering dashboards, tools, and user-friendly features that improve the day-to-day experience of our commercial teams. The analyst will configure and maintain Salesforce functionality, support end users, and drive adoption by ensuring the platform aligns with real-world business needs.

This position may be based remotely, onsite at the Configuration Center in Akron, OH, or another Epiroc facility or production company location in North America. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Business Process & System Support:
* Partner with commercial stakeholders to understand day-to-day challenges and translate them into Salesforce improvements.
* Identify ways to improve workflows and reduce manual tasks using Salesforce tools (e.g., mobile features, business card readers, email sync).
* Serve as the primary Salesforce support for commercial users, including sales, marketing, and service teams.
Salesforce Configuration & Data Tools:
* Build and maintain dashboards, reports, flows, validation rules, and page layouts to support commercial operations.
* Ensure data integrity across accounts, contacts, opportunities, leads, and related objects.
* Manage user access, permissions, and support requests across the Salesforce platform.
* Coordinate with IT or external partners on complex system changes or integrations.
Training, Adoption & Documentation:
* Provide user training, process documentation, and ongoing support to ensure adoption and data quality.
* Stay current on Salesforce best practices and recommend enhancements to better support the business.

Knowledge/Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Salesforce-focused role supporting sales or commercial functions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including dashboards, reports, flows, and page layouts.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201), preferred
  • Prefer experience in manufacturing, OEM, or B2B commercial environments.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Pardot), ERP systems, or CPQ platforms.
  • Experience supporting field-based sales teams and mobile-enabled Salesforce functionality.



Skills and Abilities:



  • Ability to gather and interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on usability and process improvement



Work Environment:
This position may be performed remotely or on-site at an Epiroc office or production company location. The role is primarily clerical in nature and involves extended periods of computer use in a standard office setting. Onsite environments are professional office spaces with standard lighting, climate control, and low to moderate noise levels. Remote employees are expected to maintain a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace to support productive, secure work. The Salesforce Business Analyst is expected to maintain a professional, customer-focused presence and collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple locations and time zones.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $85,000 and $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards
