We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Technician to join our team at Endress+Hauser Flow, USA. This position plays a key role in our mission to build a world-class organization and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our operations focuses on our customers. What is the role about? This role will be integrated into our Quality and Continuous Improvement department. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring that daily inspection tasks are maintained, in support of our manufacturing operation, fulfilling orders to our customer correctly and on time. This role will primarily be responsible for overseeing our non-conforming handling processes, material review board activities with status reports, coordination and communication of stock checks, and support of creating /maintaining documentation of our processes. Outside of the daily tasks, this role will support the department in monitoring and measuring our processes for continuous improvement initiatives. This will consist of engaging with cross-functional teams and supporting compliance audits. Which tasks will you perform? Quality Assurance
- Provide inspection methods guidance to other inspectors
- Perform in process audits and document test results
- Review factory orders and production samples
- Coordinate stock checks and communicate with stakeholders
- Assist in procedure compliance audit
- Evaluate corrective action and follow up on product audit results
- Dispense quality assurance purchases and procurement
- Collect measurement data for use in First Article Inspection Reports
- Ensure effective non-conforming handling processes with accuracy
- Coordinate MRB activities including repair of assemblies and components
Document Creation and Maintenance
- Generate summary reports of test and audit results and provide feedback
- Maintain test results records by part number
- Review manufacturing techniques and results for compliance
- Suggest quality/product improvements in written form
- Create or maintain procedures, work instructions, and forms for quality processes
Equipment Maintenance
- Assist in the fabrication of specialized test fixtures, development of basic inspection instructions, and maintenance/calibration of test equipment
- Support equipment calibration and maintenance program
- Involvement and participation in pilot run and engineering prototype processes
- Support cross-functional team at daily production board and TPM engagements
- Additional duties may be assigned
